Dr. McDiarmid joined the faculty in 1987 as the director of behavioral medicine. He has extensive experience in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, a prison, a community mental health clinic, a drug/alcohol rehabilitation program, a VA hospital and a pediatric department in a teaching hospital.
