Dr. Coe grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended medical school at UC San Francisco. A graduate of the Shasta-Cascade Family Practice Residency, Dr. Coe practiced eight years in Redding before joining our faculty full-time in 1996. He combines a busy practice including obstetrics along with resident precepting at Mercy Family and the inpatient family practice service. His clinical areas of interest include zoonotic and parasitic diseases, obstetrics, HIV disease, and health maintenance screening. He shares his recreational interests with his family including hiking, cycling, reading, and herpetology.
