Dr. Michael Jorde, a Minnesota native, is a 1990 graduate of the residency program who serves as medical director for a local urgent care clinic. As one of our community faculty members, Dr. Jorde precepts at Mercy Family Health Center for outpatient care and Mercy Medical Center for in-patient care. Along with Dr. Davis, Dr. Jorde helps to coordinate our residency support group. His interests include orthopedic and international medicine and providing coverage for the community homeless clinic. He has served as medical director for Lalmba Association's Masoto Clinic in Kenya from 1990 to 1992 and again in 2004. His other interests include tennis, a much enjoyed but somewhat unimpressive career as a bass player at a Redding church and balancing the demands of a medical career with setting aside time to spend with his wife and two daughters.
