Dr. Ramiro Zuniga attended medical school at the Pntifica Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia and completed a research fellowship of medical genetics in Milwaukee, and a Family Medicine residency at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, Chicago. After three years of rural practice in Northern Californis, he joined the faculty at San Joaquin General Hospital in 1999. Dr. Zuniga currently serves s the interim Chair of Family Medicine and Director of Primary Medicine Clinics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
