Dr. Kieffer completed his graduate (1974) and doctorate (1986) education in social work at St. Louis University. He is a Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in social work. His practice expertise is varied. During his military career, he has held every social work position in mental health and family advocacy and was assigned to three overseas locations. Dr. Kieffer also served as the social work consultant in the Far East and has directed two family support centers. Married with two children, Dr. Kieffer is an ordained permanent deacon in the Catholic Church. His interests include travel and golf.
