Ron Fong, M.D. - Assistant Professor

Dr. Fong, received his undergraduate degree from UC Irvine and his MD from Wayne State University. His residency was done at King/Drew Medical Center. He joined the faculty in 2005, after completing the Primary Care Outcomes Research Fellowship at UC Davis. Dr. Fong is the physician director for the high risk/chronic disease foot clinic. His areas of research interest are obesity, renal disease in the primary care setting, and diabetic wound assessment/prevention. Dr. Fong and his wife Maria have three sons. When Dr. Fong is not working he can be found running or coaching youth league baseball.
